Vampires are not the only monsters in Magic: the Gathering lore as the game also includes werewolves.
Werewolves reside through different planes in Magic: the Gathering, including Innistrad. One of the notable werewolves from the plane is the planeswalker Arlinn Kord.
Arlinn is described as a tormented werewolf who has fought her change since she was a teenager. She managed to hide her affliction from her teachers when she studied to become an Archmage of Goldnight – that is until one evening when she succumbed to her transformation, killed many hierarchs and her planeswalker spark ignited and transported her to another plane.
During this time she regained her human mind in her werewolf form, giving her a new appreciation for her wolf side. Arlinn can now control her transformation and while she is horrified by the bloodshed, she has grown to appreciate her werewolf form.
Arlinn is also focused on the survival of her pack, especially with rival forces seeking to destroy all werewolves. She will go to great measures to save them.

Players can utilize different creatures for decks based around Arlinn Kord, mainly those utilizing red and green colors.
All in all, Arlinn Kord has cool abilities when it comes to her human and werewolf form. She also has an interesting backstory and as a fantasy fan, it is nice to see a werewolf portrayed a noble person and not just bloodthirsty.
